This Thursday at McLeod we ask for staff and students to wear orange on September 26th to show respect, support, and commitment to reconciliation. 

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation takes place on Monday, September 30th, 2024. There will be no classes that day.

We honour the children who never returned home and Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities. Public commemoration of the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools is a vital component of the reconciliation process.
