Student Leadership Program

rams.c56c313746.jpgThe Student Leadership Program at Robert Andrews School serves to empower our students into assuming increasingly productive and contributing roles as citizens in our school community and beyond.

The team is comprised of primarily Grade 8 students who undergo an application and interview process, as well as a small group of Grade 7 students who, based on teacher recommendation, are invited to a position on the team.

As a goal, the program seeks to provide students with an opportunity to have their voice heard in a positive and credible way. The program also aims to provide team members with a variety of learning opportunities that target the direct development of leadership related skills, abilities and knowledge. Furthermore, the program ultimately serves as a platform for students to create opportunities, not only for themselves but also for their peers.
